Laser Tattoo Removal Reviews
"I've been going to Dr. Rettenmeir for several years now for tattoo removal. (I can't seem to learn my lesson about tattooing or microblading my brows.) Each time I see him, he is not just professional, but very caring. He is also helping me improve a raised scar on my face with the Opus Fractional Plasma device. This device has made dramatic changes to the appearance of my scar that it's almost gone. I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Rettenmeir for tattoo removal and scar issues."- A.D. / Google / Oct 11, 2021
What Can I Expect from Laser Tattoo Removal?
Once Dr. Rettenmaier decides that your skin is ideal for tattoo removal treatment, your tattoo will be prepared with a careful cleansing and an application of a topical anesthetic. Dr. Rettenmaier will begin by passing the Quanta Discovery Pico Plus applicator over the tattooed skin as it releases energy and pulsing laser light. The time it takes to complete the procedure can vary, depending on the size and type of the treatment area. Your tattoo may require a number of sessions before noticeable results can be seen. These factors will all be discussed during your consult. After each treatment, a topical cream will be applied to the treated area along with bandages to help protect your skin. You may experience redness and swelling, and you may feel like you have a sunburn. If the area starts to scab, you should not be alarmed as this is relatively normal. It's important to follow aftercare instructions carefully to speed up the recovery process. Once the site has healed, you can schedule your next treatment session. Dr. Rettenmaier does not recommend scheduling sessions sooner than 4 – 7 weeks apart.
